Sporty SUMMER PUPS…

Today I’m back to share this super cute mini slimline summer card and once again, I couldn’t resist using one of Ink n’ Splatter’s NEW SIZZLING SUMMER Release Stamp Sets.

I created this card using the Sporty Summer Pups Stamp Set and…

the “Blue Green Serene” Pattern Paper

Surf’s Up…

This little cutie just had to have a little movement…check it out

LET’S CREATE…

I stamped my little pup on marker paper and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I cut it out using the coordinating die and set it aside to work on my card base.

CARD BASE…

For my Card Base, I cut and folded a piece of Kraft Card stock to approximately 3.25″ x 6.50″. Then using mini slimline dies, I die cut two stitched rectangles from white card stock, one smaller than the other, and another from the Blue Green Serene Pattern Paper

Splash…

On the smaller white stitched rectangle, I added a SPLASH of watercolor in hues of blue and aqua and then splattered it with white ink to give the water the appearance of movement.

I stamped my sentiment with a coordinating ink color and die cut it using a stitched banner die

Catching a Wave…

So if you watched the little video above, you saw that my little surfing pup was moving above the splash of water. In order to make this little cutie look like he was Catching a Wave, I attached an wobble under him and on to the Splash panel.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER…

Ok so now I have all my pieces, which aren’t many at all to create this super fun mini slimline, it is time to put it all together.

I attached my larger white stitched panel to my Kraft card base and then using from adhesive, I attached my pattern paper panel to that.

Then I attached my Splash panel to the patten paper and secured my little surfing Pup in the upper right corner of my card.

Next I added my sentiment and a few coordinating sparkly enamel dots and my card was finished…easy right?!
