A Swan’s Heart Beauty in Strength

Today I am back again featuring another card inspiration for my new stamp set that I illustrated for Gina K Designs called “A Swan’s Heart” along with the coordinating Die Set (now sold separately)

For my card base, I cut and scored a piece of Black Onyx heavyweight card stock by Gina K Designs. It’s hard to see in the pic but I die cut a large heart in the center of the base cover and then popped it up with foam adhesive.

I stamped and cut my images with Black Onyx Dye Ink and colored them with alcohol markers.

I heat embossed my sentiment on Black Onyx heavyweight card stock with “Detail White Embossing Powder”

For the large vibrant flowers, I stamped a few florals from the lovely “Wishful Florals” Stamp Set with “Whisper” Amalgam Ink and then I watercolored them using “Passionate Pink”, “Grass Green” & “Fresh Asparagus” Dye Ink by Gina K Designs.

Once painted, I die cut the flowers out with the coordinating Die Set and placed them around the outer frame of my card. I popped my Swans and my sentiment up with foam adhesive. to give my card some dimension.

To finish off my card I added a few silver pearls for a little bling.
