Today I am back again featuring another card inspiration for my new stamp set that I illustrated for Gina K Designs called “A Swan’s Heart” along with the coordinating Die Set (now sold separately)

This was a simple card to create. For my background, I swiped some Blue Lagoon Dye ink on my glass mat and spritzed it with a little water. Then I took a pouncer and wrapped it in plastic and tied it off with a rubber band. I dipped my plastic pouncer in the watered ink and dabbed it on a piece of white card stock.

I had some ink left over so I decided to dip a Tapestry embossed scrap into the remaining ink and got a really cool effect that I used for my card base layer. I cut my first inked panel with ML 2 Stitched Rectangle.

I stamped the Swan, silhouette Plants and my sentiment with Black Onyx ink and die cut them with the coordinating Die Set. Then I colored the Swan with alcohol markers and popped them up with foam adhesive. I also stamped the water ripples directly on the inked panel with Blue Lagoon Dye Ink.

I attached the dipped panel to my card base and popped my inked panel with foam adhesive over top. I added a few black pearls and my card was done.
