An Adorable Winter Card with a Subtle Snowy Background using Gina K Designs

Welcome to back my Studio!

For today’s inspiration card sample I am using my NEW “Furry Flurries” Stamp Set that I illustrated for Gina K Designs along with the coordinating Die Set (now sold separately) to create an adorable winter card with a subtle snowy background.

Stamping & Coloring…

I stamped my sentiment & cute little image using Black Onyx Premium Dye Ink and colored it with Copic Alcohol Markers (color chart below)

To create a snowy winter day scene, I stamped some trees from “O Christmas Tree” Stamp set in “Whisper” Amalgam Ink & “Light Spruce” Dye Ink, scattering them in various heights and positions.

Card Base…

For the base of my card, I cut and scored a piece of white card stock to create an A2 top fold card. I used ML 2 for the base of my card along with “Moonlit Fog” Heavy Weight Card Stock for my base frame to coordinate with the colors of my image.

Snowy Slope…

I die cut a piece of white card stock on an angle using ML 6 to create my snowy slope and then blended touches of “Whisper” to create texture.

Putting it All Together…

I attached my larger “Moonlit Fog” panel to my A2 card base. Then I added my white stitched panel where I stamped the snowy trees. My Snowy slope panel was popped up and added to the bottom of my card. I added my image & sentiment using foam adhesive for even more dimension. I finished my card with some a few silver pearls and my card was done.
