A Special Delivery Panda Bear Christmas/Winter Shaker Card

Today I am featuring another sweet Christmas/Winter Card using my super cute Holiday Stamp Set from Gina K Designs called “Special Delivery Pandas” with the coordinating Die Set (now sold separately)

I had a lot of fun pairing many of Gina K Designs with my “Special Delivery Pandas” to created this shaker card (full supply list below)

Stamping & Coloring…

I stamped of my Panda images on marker paper using Black Onyx Premium Dye Ink and colored them with Copic Alcohol Markers (color chart below) I also stamped my sentiment on “Kraft Heavy Weight” Card Stock using “Charcoal Brown Dye Ink” and die cut it out with the Coordinating Die Set

Background…

For my background I stamped a piece of white card stock using the lLarge Rectangle Pattern form the “Seasonal Patterns & Phrases” with “Cadet Blue” Dye Ink on a piece of white card stock. I then die cut the pattern using the ML 2 large stitched rectangle die and die cut a piece of NEW “Cadet Blue” Heavy Weight Card Stock to use as a mat to my image.

Shaker Window…

I made a Shaker Window by first die cutting a piece of “Cadet Blue” Heavy Weight Card Stock with the Single Stitched Rectangles Die Set. Then I stamped the blue panel using the “O Christmas Tree” Stamp Set with “Cadet Blue” Dye Ink and spattered it with white opaque ink for a snowy effect.

Using the Single Stitched Rectangles Die Set again, I lined up two rectangles one inside the other and die cut several pieces of White Card Stock to create a frame around my stupid blue panel. I also die cut a snow mound using ML 6.

I glued all the frames, but one, together and attached them and the snow mound to the stamped blue panel. I dropped a few Clear Sequins in for a sparkly snowy shaker effect. Then I topped off my shaker window by adding a piece of of clear acetate to the remaining frame and sealed the shaker.

Putting it All Together…

I cut & scored a piece of “Kraft Heavy Weight” Card Stock to an A2 size side fold card. Then I attached my Pattern Stamped Panel to my baseusing foam adhesive for some dimension. I attached my shaker window over top and added my images and sentiment.

I finished my card with a few Silver Pearls and a heart laced border created on “Cadet Blue” Heavy Weight Card Stock using “Fancy Borders” Die Set and my card was finished.
