Homemade in the Snow

Hello Friends…
Welcome to back my Studio!

Today I am sharing another sample featuring my new “Merry Little Penguins” and coordinating die set.

Stamping & Coloring…

I first stamped my image on marker paper with Black Dye Ink  & Die cut it using the coordinating die set. Then I colored it with Copic Alcohol Markers  (color chart below)

Background & Base…

For my base, I cut and scored a piece of Passionate Pink Card Stock to an A2 tent fold card. Then, using ML8, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the large stitch die as window for my card. For my textured background panel, I embossed that window panel with the Swiss Dot Embossing Folder.

I ink blended another piece of white card stock with Passionate Pink & Tangerine Twist Dye Ink and then I splattered it with white opaque ink for the snowfall. I also die cut a couple of snowdrifts using ML 6 and tucked them inside the window panel as a grounding for my image.

Putting it All Together…

I attached my ink blended panel to mycard base. Then I attached the embossed window panel to the base panel with foam adhesive. I also attached the snow drifts inside the window and then I attached my image with foam adhesive as well for dimension.

I die cut my sentiment from the “Merry Little Penguins” stamp set and added it to the top center of my card. With a few Silver Pearls, my card was finished.

I hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
