Q: What does “A Book A Sandwich Shop & Music” have in common?
A: Craft Roulette Episode #293
I’m excited to say I finally had a minute to take the Craft Roulette Challenge. Craft Roulette is the “Ultimate Card Making Challenge” If you haven’t had chance to experience Craft Roulette, you just might be missing out on a lot of fun & inspiration! You can catch all their episodes on their YouTube Channel
Almost every Friday Night 7:30 pm EST they have a special guest, choose parameters, and make a card live, not to mention lots of crafty chat.
So for Episode #293 the Spin of the Roulette Wheel came up with the following Parameters:
- Project: Book Binding Card
- Colors: Sandwich Shop
- Element: Music
- Random: Wrap(s) (ing)
Here’s What I came up with…
Project: For the Book Binding Card, I cut and scored a piece of white card stock to create an A2 side fold card and then scored it approximately 1 1/2″ from the left to create a flap
Colors: My Sandwich shop colors are “Lettuce Green”, Sub Sandwich Tan or Beige, Pink Tomato and Ham, White Mayo, Brown Awning, Gray Door…you get the point 😉
Element: For my image, I printed and colored one of my Digi Doodle Studios Digi Stamps called “Freddy” who is listening to music and my background is a piece of my “Love Music” Digital Paper with a musical notes pattern.
Random: I wrapped a piece of Baker’s Twine around the flap of my book binding card
I used a scallop loop die and a stitched white square as a grounding for my image. Then I added a light green wash and a few silver pearls and my card was finished.
