Fall Woodsy Critters…
I used the “Fall Woodsy Critters” Stamp Set from Ink n’ Splatter for this one. If it wasn’t for the Craft Roulette parameters, I probably wouldn’t have thought to create a Congratulations fall friends in hummingbird colors.
The Craft Roulette challenges are always fun and always stretch my imagination to create fun and unique projects. This was no exception.
These two “Best Friends” for the Element Parameter are from Ink n’ Splatter’s “Fall Woodsy Critters“. They never get old! It’s a super fun set with other critters to create cute scenes and endless possibilities, as you can see, for any kind of card. I colored the critters with alcohol markers with the vibrance of a hummingbird, and wrote in the sentiment by hand, for a fun whimsical look.
For my background base, I ink blended a beautiful leaf stencil on blue card stock to bring out the bright jewel-like colors of a beautiful Hummingbird.
I also die cut a white panel that I inked and splatted for somewhat of a confetti look to go along with the Congratulations theme.
To make my critters pop as the focus of my card, I die cut a couple of circles and placed them in the center of the card with a splash of color to add contrast. then I added my images with adhesive foam to give my card dimension.
I added a couple of adorable die cut banners to either side for a celebratory look and added a couple of colorful leaves from the same stamp set and a little sparkle just for fun…and my card was finished.
All my supplies for this fabulously fun project can be found below.
I hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
