A Friend Loves At All Times

Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio!

Today I’m featuring another super sweet card I created using the “Hedgehogs in Happiness” stamp set I illustrated for Gina K Designs.

This was a quick and simple card to create with a special message using a scriptural verse from Proverbs 17:17, “A Friend Loves At All Times”

Card Base…

I cut and scored a piece of White Card Stock to create an A2 card base. Using Master Layouts 2 I die cut a piece of Ocean Mist Card Stock and a stitched panel from White Card Stock.

Geos & Polka Dots…

For my polka dot background I stamped with the new “Pin Dots” background stamp on my white stitched panel. Then I stamped a geometrical pattern on another piece of White Card Stock using a Double Background Grip Mat Pattern and cut it vertically to size.

Stamping & Coloring…

I stamped my Hedgehog & my Sentiment with Black Onyx Dye Ink. Then I die cut my images and colored them with Copic Markers (color chart below) I also die cut a square mat and another white stitched panel using Master Layouts 3.

Coloring Process…

I created a coloring process Video and discussed a few featured card samples. You can watch it here or on my YT Channel:

Putting It All Together…

I attached my larger mat and polka dotted stitched panel to my card base using foam adhesive. Then I attached my image with foam adhesive to the two smaller square panels and attached them to my larger panels with foam adhesive as well to give my card lots of dimension.

I added my sentiment, and few Silver Pearls for some added interest and my card was finished.
