An Awesome Friend
Welcome to back my Studio!
Today, I am sharing another card I created taking the Craft Roulette Challenge. This challenge can be found on Episode #222

I used s stamp set from  Gina K Designs for this one. I’m sure if it wasn’t for the Craft Roulette parameters, I never would have created this exact card. But…the Craft Roulette challenges are always fun and always stretch the imagination. Here’s the Parameters for Episode #222:
These are Challenge Parameters for #213:
- Project:Â Dutch Door
- Colors:Â Gnomes
- Element:Â Movie
- Random:Â Building Blocks

The Making of 222…
To create my card, I first had to create a Dutch Door which is basically a flap/door on any part of your card. I went with the traditional look by cut out a top panel of an A2 card base. This creates my door at the bottom.

Then I cut a couple of plaid pattern paper panels. One is to be placed on the inner part of my card base, and the other on the front of the Dutch Door. I chose these colors because they are easily found on gnomes.

So this combo meets the Dutch Door Parameter and Gnome Colors Parameter.
Next I die cut a stitched white panel and ink blended a brick wall stencil on a small part of the center of the panel. This met the Random Building Blocks Parameter.

To meet the Movie Parameter, I die cut a couple of filmstrips from white yardstick and then lightly ink blended them to match the colors of my card.
To finish off my card I added a beautiful butterfly, with foam adhesive, to the top panel above the filmstrips as my focal point. I also added a sentiment and a few gems to tie everything together.
And with that my card was finished and all the parameters met.

I hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
