Welcome to back my Studio!
Today I am excited to feature a card I created with my NEW Stamp Set called “Feathered Friends”, that I illustrated for Gina K Designs
This is another super fun stamp set with many possibilities for any day of the year. Here’s what “Feathered Friends” includes:
- 2 timeless Sentiments
- 2 Roosters
- 2 Chickens
- 2 smaller chicks
- A wagon full of vegetables
- A flower
- A sprout
- A mound of dirt
- A watering can
- A packet of seeds
- A hand rake
- An egg
- A checker boarder
For this card, I ink blended the background with Blue Sky & Blue Raspberry Ink.
To create this adorable scene, I used a few die cut elements from Master Layouts 06
Once I cut out my elements I assembled them on my inked background panel and attached the panel to a piece of Black Onyx Card Stock to frame it out.
I stamped my Sentiment & Images on marker paper with Black Onyx Dye Ink and colored them with Copic Markers (color chart below)
For my background panel, I embossed a piece of Layering Weight Card Stock with the Gingham Embossing Folder. I attached my embossed panel to a piece of Kraft Card Stock.
My card base is an A2 card that I cut and cored from a piece of White Artist Choice Card Stock. It’s a heavier card stock and holds up really well for a card with several layers.
I added a few gold pearls and my card was finished.
