Gingerbread Kisses & Christmas Wishes

Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio! I’m so glad you joined me today!

Gingerbread Kids…

Today, I am working with Ink n’ Splatter’s NEW Gingerbread Kids stamp set and coordinating Die Set (sold separately) for this simple but adorable A2 Christmas card.

I also used the NEW “Gingerbread Wishes” Pattern Paper for my background

COLORING…

I stamped all my images on marker paper with black hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers.

Card Base…

For my card base, I cut and scored a piece of white card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″. Then I cut a piece of the pattern paper to approximately 4″ x 5.25″ and attached oi to the front of my card base with foam adhesive to give it some dimension.

I stamped my sentiment from the Gingerbread Kids stamp set with a coordinating colored ink (full supply list below) and die cut it with a stitched banner die.

Finishing Touches…

I die cut a couple of cute borders, from white card stock, and attached them on the top and bottom of the pattern paper. I also die cut a stitched shape for the center of my card and colored it with a light watercolor wash to add some contrast for my Gingerbread kid for which I attached with foam adhesive.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is card1-w.jpg

I also die cut a few snowflakes from white card stock and dotted the centers with enamel dots. I arranged a few stamped candies around my Gingerbread and my card was done…simple and fun?!
