Happy Birthday Kitties

Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio!
Ink n’ Splatter has a New Release this month called “Sweet Celebrations”

There are four separate stamps sets, coordinating dies, and 2 New Pattern Paper Pads for this super cute release but for this project, I am using the “Birthday Kitties” Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set

and the Sweet Blue Celebrations Pattern Paper.

LET’S COLOR…

I stamped my image on marker paper and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I cut it out using the coordinating die and set it aside to work on my background.

BACKGROUND…

For my background, I die cut a scalloped circle out of a piece of white card stock to create a window for my shaker elements. To elevate my window I also die cut several open rounds and attached them under the scallop window.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY…

I stamped my sentiment. “Happy Birthday”, from the “Birthday Kitties” Stamp Set and die cut it out using a stitched banner die.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER…

Before I attached my image to my scalloped Shaker background panel, I cut a piece of coordinating pattern paper from the “Sweet Blue Celebrations Pattern Paper“.

I cut and folded a piece of white card stock to create an A2 card base. I attached my background pattern paper panel using foam adhesive….and did the same to attach my image to the scalloped shaker background panel. Then I filled my shaker well with lost of cute confetti and sealed it with a piece of acetate.

FINISHING TOUCHES…

I attached my sentiment strip with double sided adhesive to another die cut banner using an extra piece of my pattern paper and placed it just above my image on my background panel. I also added a few coordinating enamel dots and bakers twine just for fun!

I hope I have inspired you to simply create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming to bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.

Be sure to leave a comment, if you have enjoyed this project.
