Happy Father’s Day
Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio!
Happy Father’s Day…
Wishing all the awesome, Dads, Grandfathers, Husbands, and future Fathers a very healing and Happy Father’s Day!
Best Cat Dad Ever…
My son is probably one of the best cat Dads ever! Well at least, and most importantly, his Kali girl thinks he is!
So I decided to create a card for him using Ink n’ Splatter “Birthday Kitties” Stamp Set
and the “Sweet Blue Celebrations” Pattern Paper
Birthday Kitty…
Do you celebrate Father’s Day with a cake and candles? Maybe, or maybe not, but the Sweet Celebrations Collection, and Coordinating Papers, can be used for ANY celebration!
I decided to use one of the Birthday Kitties in the Birthday Kitty Stamp Set to make my son’s card.
I stamped my image on marker paper and colored it with Copic Markers to look like his kitty. Then I cut it out using the coordinating die and set it aside to work on my card base.
Card Base…
For my card base, I cut and folded a piece of white card stock and cut it to and A2 size.
Then I cut a piece of pattern paper, from the Sweet Blue Celebrations paper collection, slightly smaller to leave a white border around the pattern panel.
I also cut out another piece of white card stock using a deckled edge cutter.
I also cut out two tags, one from white cardstock and the other from another piece of pattern paper from the Sweet Blue Celebrations paper collection
Sentiment…
I didn’t have a Father’s Day Stamp, so I printed this one and die cut it with a stitched banner die.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER…
Ok now that I have all my pieces cut, it is time to assemble my card!
I attached my pattern paper and my deckled white card stock to my card base with double-sided adhesive to give it some dimension.
I glued my two tags together on an angle and attached my image and the tags with foam adhesive.
FINISHING TOUCHES…
I wanted to tie the kitty theme in with the vibrant colors of my card so I added a few enamel dots in the shape of a cat paw and then added a few more just for fun!
I hope I have inspired you to simply create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming to bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
