Hedgehogs in Happiness Tag Card

Gina K Designs had their June Release Party last night? I had the pleasure of designing another super fun Stamp Set for Gina K Designs for this release. This one is called “Hedgehogs in Happiness”
You can take a peek at many of my samples that I created for this release in my last post, but I will be showcasing each one individually with color charts and supply lists.
With that said, in today’s post, I am featuring an adorable tag card using “Hedgehogs in Happiness”
Card Base…
For this A2 card I cut and scored a piece of “Barely There” Heavy Weight Card Stock . Then I embossed a piece of White Card Stock using the “Tapestry” Embossing Folder and using my “Barely There” Ink Pad, gently swiped some ink over the raised embossed pattern to accentuate the design.
Tags…
Then I die cut two tags, one with White Card Stock, and one with “Barely There” Heavy Weight Card Stock using the “Shaker Tags Die”. I stamped the “Barely There” Tag with a Script Background Stamp and “Barely There” Ink
Stamping & Coloring…
I stamped one of the cute fluffy Hedgehogs, a few flowers and a sentiment included in this stamp set with Premium Dye Black Onyx Ink.
I colored my Hedgehog and Flowers with Copic Markers and die cut them with the coordinating die cuts (color chart below)
Putting It All Together…
In putting my Tag Card together, I cut a piece of White Card Stock slightly larger than my embossed panel and attached it to my “Barely There” card base. I place foam adhesive on the back of my embossed panel and centered it over the white panel on my card base.
I offset my two tags and popped them up on my embossed panel with foam adhesive to give my card some dimension. once my tags were in place, I attached my Hedgehog off to the left of my card and placed my flowers behind her.
Finishing Touches…
I finished off. my card by popping up my sentiment off to the right of my card, added a corded bow to my tags, and added a few gold pearls for some much loved added bling…and with that, my card was finished.
