Just Saying Hello

Hello Friends!
Welcome back to my Studio! I’m so glad you are here today!

Altenew AECP…

I’m so happy to be back again with another wonderful project for the Altenew’s Educator Program!

Today I’m working on ink stamping another fabulous set from Altenew with the appearance of watercolors.

Painted Butterflies…

This fabuloulsy versatile stamp set is called “Painted Butterflies” and it was a pleasure to work with.

Background…

For the base of my card, I cut and folded a piece of White Cardstock. Then I cut another piece of White Cardstock to an A2 size and embossed it with Blossoming Branches.

Color Palette…

For my butterflies, I chose Altenew‘s “Shades of Purple” and Deep Blue Seas Crisp Dye Ink Set to create my card today!

Stamping Here and There…

I stamped a few of them directly on the embossed panel, and a few others in various shapes and sizes on another piece of White Cardstock and die cut them.

Watercolors Too…

Before placing my die cut Butterflies, I lightly added Watercolors to the embossed panel to tie everything all together.

Putting it All Together…

I placed the embossed A2 panel on the front of my card using double-sided adhesive and added the die Butterflies randomly around the embossed panel also with double-sided adhesive.

Just Saying Hello…

A little Sparkle Never Hurts….

To finish my Painted Butterflies card, I added several sequins in shades of purples to the centers of the embossed flowers.

I hope I have inspired you today to try something new, or simply create something Fabulously Beautiful using Altenew
I’m sure you will be able to find something in their store to spark your creativity!
