Owl-Some Owls Shaker Card

OWL-SOME OWLS…

Today I’m sharing another super cute handmade Owl Greeting Card using Ink n’ Splatter’s NEW Owl-some Owls Stamp Set from the May Release.

I love making Shaker cards and I love giving them even more!

My Owl-some Owls Shaker is no exception and it came together pretty quickly.

I stamped all my images for this card on marker paper with black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Card Base…

For my card base, I cut a letter size piece of pink heavy weight card stock to 4.25″ x 11″ and scored it in half at 5.5″ to create an A2 size card. Then I cut out a stitched circle from the center of a piece of white card stock. I embossed it to give it some dimension and interest.

For the center of my shaker I ink blended a piece of whet card stock with coordinating colors (full supply list below). Then I created a well with thick foam adhesive and filled it with sequins.

I placed a piece of clear acetate over my stitched opening and attached it to my base closing the well.

Then I places my colored images around the shaker circle to create this cute little scene.
