Sparkles & Sky

Hello Friends…
Welcome to back my Studio!

Today I am playing along with Craft Roulette Episode #212

The Challenge Parameters:

  • Project: Card for a Co-Worker
  • Colors: Kites in the Sky
  • Element: April
  • Random: Sparkles

Since I work from my home studio, my fur babies are my “Co-workers” and believe me, I am truly grateful for them and the joy they bring me each and every day! So for my appreciation for my “Co-workers” I created a furry bunny card.

I stamped my image on marker paper with black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. This adorable image is from the Ink n’ Splatter “Peyton’s Painted Eggs” Stamp Set to fit the “April” Parameters….Easter is usually in April, right?! Then I cut it out my image using the coordinating die set.

For my background, I ink blended the edges of a piece of colored card stock with coordinating colors and the splattered it with white sparkle paint. (complete supply list below)

Once my image was colored, I added sparkles to the painted eggs and paint cans. I also splattered blue sparkle paint to the edges of my white card base to fit the “Random” Parameters.

To finish off my card I added a sentiment from the same stamp set and a few sparkly crystal gems.

hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.

Please be sure to leave a comment, if you have enjoyed my project.
