Sprinkled with Happiness

Welcome back to my Studio!

Ink n’ Splatter has a New Release this month called “Sweet Celebrations”

There are four separate stamps sets, coordinating dies, and 2 New Pattern Paper Pads for this super cute release.

For this project, I am using the “Simply Sweet Bunnies” Stamp Set, Coordinating Die Set, and “Sweet Celebrations” Pattern Paper

LET’S COLOR…

I stamped my image on marker paper and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I cut it out using the coordinating die and set it aside to work on my background.

BACKGROUND…

For my background, I die cut a scalloped stitched rectangle out of a piece of white card stock. Then I colored my background with Copic Markers and loose watercolors to create a subtle outdoor scene.

Sprinkled with Happiness…

I stamped my sentiment. “Sprinkled with Happiness”, from the  “Simply Sweet Bunnies” Stamp Set and die cut it out using a stitched banner die.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER…

Card Base…

For my card base, I cut and folded a piece of white card stock to an A2 size. Then I cut a piece of the “Sweet Celebrations” Pattern Paper slightly smaller than my base and attached it to my card base with a piece of adhesive foam.

Then I attached my image to my painted scalloped rectangle background panel with another piece of adhesive foam to give my card some dimension.

FINISHING TOUCHES…

I attached my sentiment strip with double sided adhesive above my image on an extra piece of pattern paper that I used for my card base and added a few coordinating enamel dots just for fun!
