Sweeter than Honey Gift Tag

Hello Friends…
Welcome to back my Studio!

SWEET HONEY BEES…

Today I am using the new July release from Ink n’ Splatter and I’m excited to share this super cute gift tag with you!

Sweet Honey Bees Stamp Set is a fun stamp set that includes 7 adorable happy Bees, a large Beehive, 2 large Flowers, a buzzing trail, and 4 cute sentiments.

Today I am working with only one of these adorable Bees, our new “Whimsical Flower” Die Set which is a stand alone die set, and our  Honeycomb Stencil.

VIDEO TUTORIAL…

Want to see me make this super cute gift tag? You can watch my video tutorial for this gift tag on the Ink n’ Splatter YT channel.

Sweeter than Honey Gift Tags…

I love gift tags! They are super easy to make and give your gifts an extra special touch..not to mention that they let the recipient know you took extra time and care to create something just for them. Coordinate your gift tags with one of your fabulous handmade cards and you have just made someone’s day!

Coloring & Ink Blending…

I stamped my image and sentiment with Black Onyx Dye ink. It dries really quickly and doesn’t bleed when using alcohol markers. While my little Bumble Bee was drying.

I cut a piece of white card stock and ink blended the Honeycomb Stencil using distress oxide ink.

Then I die cut 2 cute gift tags, one from black card stock and the other from the stenciled Honeycomb panel and then set them aside.

Whimsical Flower…

I die cut the  “Whimsical Flower” from white card stock and then I ink blended the center of the flower with the same coordinating colors I used for the stencil.

Coloring…

Once all my die cutting and ink blending was finished, I colored my Bumble Bee using alcohol markers.

Putting it all Together…

With all pieces for this cute gift tag ready, I began assembling it. I first put the two die cut tags together using a piece of foam adhesive off to one side to give my tag some dimension.

then I cut my  “Whimsical Flower” in half and attached it to the right center of the stenciled tag. I line the flower up with the stitching as no to cover it up.

Then I added my Bumble Bee to the lower left of the stenciled tag and place my sentiment to the upper right of the tag. Both were attached with foam adhesive to pop above the “Whimsical Flower”.

Finishing Touches…

For the finishing touches, I tied a couple of strands of Baker’s Twine through the top of the two gift tags and added few clear enamel dots and with that, my Gift Tag was finished.

hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
