Where the Forest Whispers

Welcome back to my Studio!

Today I am sharing another inspiration card featuring my NEW Stamp Set called “Heart of the Forest” by Gina K Designs. I combined a few other Gina K Designs to create a whimsically elegant card.

As I mentioned in another post, “Find Beauty in Every Day”, the “Heart of the Forest” stamp set can be used ALL Year Round in ANY Season when paired with the many many Gina K Designs products.

Stamping & Coloring…

I stamped my images on marker paper using Black Onyx Premium Dye Ink and colored it with Copic Alcohol Markers and then die cut them with the coordinating die set (color chart below)

Background…

I cut a piece of White Card Stock to approximately 4″x5.25″ and then embossed it with the “Petite Flourish” Embossing Folder

Oval Window…

On another white panel, for my background panel I first die cut an oval using “Single Stitched Ovals” Die Set in the center of a white card stock panel. Then I heat embossed the panel using the “Tall Birch” Background Stamp Set and White Embossing Powder. I created a delicate background by ink blending a combo of Blue, Pink & Yellow Ink

Putting it All Together…

I cut & scored a piece of “White Layering Weight” Card Stock to an A2 size side tent card. I attached my ink blended Panel to my card base and then lined up my Oval window overtop and attached it with foam adhesive for some dimension. I then arranged my images and added my sentiment with foam adhesive.

I finished off my card with a several Silver Pearls and my card was finished.
