Friendly Sunflower Shaker

Yesterday I shared card whereby I spliced my ink blended Sunflower for a post called “Light Hearted”. I only used a small potion of the Sunflower for that card but…I couldn’t let this gorgeous Sunflower go to waste…so…

Today I am sharing a super fun infinity shaker card using my NEW “Friendly Pastures” Stamp Set that I illustrated for Gina K Designs along with the coordinating die set (now sold separately) and the other part of my ink blended Sunflower.

For my base I cut and scored a piece of Kraft Card Stock to create an A2 card. ThenI I cut a piece of Black Onyx Heavy Weight Card Stock to add as a frame and create contrast.

I ink blended the Spectacular Sunflowers Layering Stencil on a piece of Layering White Card Stock and added a few splatters for this sweet Autumn card. As stated earlier, just for fun, I spliced the inked Sunflower to use for another card I posted yesterday. But for this card, I used the larger portion of the Sunflower and die cut my panel using ML2.

Sunflower Infinity Shaker…

To create my Sunflower Infinity Shaker, I cut a piece of clear stamp packaging to slightly overlap my ink blended sunflower panel. I folded the excess packaging evenly on 3 sides and sealed it behind the panel to create a pocket. Then I poured a good amount, but not too many, “Glazed Pineapple Sequin Confetti” into the pocket and sealed the final side. I then attached my shaker pocket panel to a mother piece of Kraft Card Stock.

Stamping & Coloring…

I stamped my sentiment & images using Black Onyx Premium Dye Ink and colored them with Copic Alcohol Markers. Then I die cut them out with the coordinating die set.

Because I didn’t want my images and sentiment to get lost amongst the confetti, I attached these little cuties to the top of the shaker panel with some glue and my card was finished.
