Happy Fall Y’All

 Hello Friends… Happy Fall Y’All!
Welcome back to my Studio! I’m so glad you joined me today!

It’s still warm out but my heart is craving bright sunshine, cool breezes, crisp air, beautiful colors of Fall leaves, and the smell of smoking fireplaces, apples & cinnamon and of course PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!

Yup! I LOVE the Fall Season! Can you tell?!

I created this fabulously joyful Fall card from the inspiration of the Episode #183 of Craft Roulette Live

The Parameters for this Episode are:

  • Project: Card with Ribbon
  • Element: September
  • Colors: Circus
  • Random: Hand Cut

Happy Fall Foxes…

For this card, I used Ink n’ Splatter’s “Happy Fall Foxes” Stamp Set

…and “Falling For You” Pattern Paper

CARD BASE…

I cut a strip of Kraft card stock to 4.25″ x 9.25″ and scored it in half to create a top fold A2 size card. Then I cut another piece of card stock in a dark blue and cut it to fit my cover leaving a small border. I also chose one of the pattern papers from “Falling For You” Pattern Paper to fit the “Circus Colors” parameters and attached it with foam adhesive.

A few more strips from the same Pattern Paper Collection were cut and offset on the side of my card to add some contrast.

Coloring…

I stamped this fabulously furry Fox, and a few fall leaves from the same set, with hybrid ink and colored him up with Copic markers (color guide below) and die cut them out with the coordinating die set.

Die Cuts…

I cut a few stitched circles in various coordinating colors to highlight my contagiously Happy Fox .

I also die cut a super cute bunting flag banner from white card stock and “hand cut” the pattern paper and the ink blended paper behind it.

PUTTING ALL TOGETHER…

As I stated above, I offset the stitched circles and the pattern paper strips and attached them to the pattern paper base using foam adhesive. Then I stamped my sentiment using a coordinating ink color and attached it to a few more pattern paper strips and attached it with foam adhesive.

FINAL TOUCH…

I added my fall leaves, my blue ric rac ribbon, and a little twine bow just for fun!

And with that, my super happy Fall card was finished!

hope I have inspired you to simply create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming to bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.

I also hope you get a chance to view the Craft Roulette Live on YouTube most Friday evenings for a great way to unwind, laugh a little and craft alongside some fabulously “FUNN” people!
