Happy March…

Welcome back to my Studio!

Ink n’ Splatter has a new Facebook/Instagram Challenge with an optional Color Twist!

I just realized it has been awhile since I posted a card project! I was inspired by this color combo, so I decided it was time to get back to making cards!

Lovable Pandas…

I created this super fun and cheerful card using INS “Lovable Pandas” Stamp set. Ever since I was very young, I had a deep affection for Panda Bears! They are definitely one of my favorites and that coupled with my love of flowers, was the inspiration for this adorable stamp set.

Let’s Add Some Color…

I stamped my image on marker paper and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I cut it out using the coordinating die and set it aside to work on my background.

Background…

For my background, I ink-blended a piece of white cardstock using distress oxides, and then lightly spritzed water to lift some of the ink.

Have a Nice Day…

I stamped my sentiment. “Have a Nice Day”, from the “Lovable Pandas” Stamp Set and die cut it out using a stitched banner die.

Putting it All Together…

Before I attached my image to my background panel, I die cut a super cute lace circle out of white card stock. Then I dabbled a little watercolor on it with one of the colors from my palette to tie everything together.

I cut and folded a piece of white card stock to create an A2 card base. I attached my background panel using foam adhesive….and did the same to attach my image and lace circle to the background panel.

Finishing Touches…

I attached my sentiment strip with double sided adhesive just below my image on my background panel and added a few coordinating enamel dots just for fun!
