Joy Joy Joy

Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio!

Snow Wonderful…

Today I’m working with Ink n’ Splatter’s “Snow Wonderful” Stamp Set, coordinating Die Set and “Dragon Crush Pattern Paper.

Inspiration…

My inspiration for this card comes from episode #191 of Craft Roulette.

CHALLENGE PARAMETERS…

The challenge parameters for this project are:

  • Project: Drop Down
  • Element: Season
  • Colors: Dinner Table
  • Random: Shiny

I love super cute Winter Hoilday cards. This card was a JOY to create.

I began by stamping my image on marker paper and colored it with Copic markers (color chart below)

My color palette was inspired by the “Dinner Table” parameter. I find warm tones of beige and green very attractive….

  • White for a white Holiday tablecloth
  • Beige for elegant linen napkins
  • Pink-ish for a lovely dry Rose’ Wine
  • Green for an arrangement of leafy greens as a Centerpiece

Winter…

Clearly winter was my theme with an embossed snowflake background and an adorable rosy cheeked Snowman. here are several Snowmen in this stamp set and each one has a personality all their own.

Card Base…

I cut a piece of white card stock to make an A2 card and added a piece of Kraft card stock as my base panel where I attached the snowflake embossed paper and a piece of pattern paper at the bottom to break things up and off more color variations.

I added a very pretty ornament as my “drop down” parameter using the pattern paper.

Shiny Embellies…

I hung my ornament using a shimmery piece of gold ribbon. My sentiment was die cut using shiny gold foil paper and I finished it off by adding a few beautiful gold sequins. And just for fun I added a snowflake and a green bow to my hanging ornament.

You can find this adorable Snowman and many more super cute stamp sets HERE

hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
