Just Here For The Cookies

Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio! I’m so glad you joined me today!

I just love the Holiday season! I am totally inspired by all styles..the classics as well as the untraditional.

GINGERBREAD Kids…

Today, I am sharing a sweet, card I created using  Ink n’ Splatter’s NEW Gingerbread Kids Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set (sold separately).

Who can resist an adorable, snowy Gingerbread Christmas card?!

Let’s Get Started…

I stamped all my images on marker paper with black hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers.

Background…

I ink blended a piece of white cardstock with soft tones of pink and yellow. Once fry, I splattered white ink to create a snowfall.

Snowy Hills…

To create an outdoor scene, I die cut s few snowy hills using our NEW “Stitched Waves & Slopes” die set on white card stock.

Just Here for the Cookies…

I stamped my sentiment directly on one of the snowy hills that I intended to be forefront on my card.

Putting It All Together…

I cut a piece of Kraft card stock to create an A2 top fold card base. Then I cut a piece of white card stock approximately 4″ x 5.25″ and attached it to my card base.

I attached my ink blended panel to the white card base panel with adhesive foam to give my card dimension. then I arranged my snowy hills and also attached them with foam adhesive.

Then I attached my adorable Gingerbread Kids on different snowy hills layers.

A Few Extras…

For my finishing touches, I added a few snowy glitter enamel dots placed randomly around my background. I also die cut a pretty holiday leafy element and placed it in the upper right corner of my card.

And with that, my card was finished.
