The Sweetest Little Card Maker: A Whimsical Bear’s Creative Day

Hello Friends…
Welcome to back my Studio!

Last night was  Gina K Designs March Release Party!

If you missed it, you can catch the replay on their YT Channel

Today I am sharing one of my sample cards that I featured in last night’s post. I loved making samples for my newly illustrated “Pawsitively Crafty” Stamp Set ! This set is especially fun for the month of March because it is National Crafti Month. I’m sure your crafty friends would love a card created with this lovable stamp set.

“Pawsatively Crafty” can also be used all year round for lots of fun occasions. The set includes 3 lovable critters in crafty scenes and several crafty sentiments to make your projects more endearing. “Pawsatively Crafty” also has a coordinating die (now sold separately).

Card Base…

For this 5×7 inspiration sample I used Master Layouts 8 for the base components of my card. I die cut a stitched white panel from White Card Stock and the mat from Barely There Heavy Weight Card Stock.

I used the Whimsical Primrose Stencil and ink blended the flowers with Barely There Amalgam Ink and Innocent Pink Dye Ink. I ink blended the stems with Jelly Bean Green & Fresh Asparagus. I also stamped some dots with Jelly Bean Green dye ink using a stamp from “Seasonal Patterns & Phrases”

Stamping & Coloring…

I stamped my images on marker paper using Black Onyx Premium Dye Ink and color them with Copic Alcohol Markers

I also stamped and die cut my sentiment from the “Pawsitively Crafty” Stamp Set with Black Onyx Dye Ink

Then I die cut the circles with Master Layouts 8 to serve as a grounding for my little crafty bear.

Putting it All Together…

I cut and scored a piece of White Layering Weight Card Stock to create an A7 side fold card. Then I attached my stitched and mat panels to my card base. I glued the circle panels together and then attached them with foam adhesive to my stenciled panel and placed my little bear over top with foam adhesive to give my card some dimension. I also added my sentiment with foam adhesive to my card and finished it off with some Black Pearls for a little extra added bling.

With that, my Sweetest Little Card Maker card was finished.

hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
