Today I’m sharing an adorable Panda Bear Greeting Card with a Corner Bookmark.

My lovable card today was inspired by another super fun Craft Roulette Challenge….Episode #199…challenge accepted!

Challenge Parameters…

To play along and take the challenge, the following Parameters must be met.

Project: “Card with Bookmark”
Element: “Large Animal”
Colors: “Bakery”
Random: “Horizontal Lines”

Lovable Pandas…

The focal point of my card is an image from Ink n’ Splatter’s “Lovable Pandas” Stamp Set

I stamped the sweet girl panda on marker paper and colored her image with Copic Markers (color chart below). and cut her out using the coordinating di e (sold separately)

CARD BASE & BACKGROUND…

For my card base, I cut a piece of 8.5 x 11″ Kraft card stock to 4.25″ x 11 and scored it in the middles at 5.5″ to form an A2 tent fold card. Then I cut a piece of white card stock 4″ x 5.25″panel and attached it to my card base leaving a small border.

Texture…

I embossed another piece of white card stock using a gorgeous textured embossing folder (full supply list below) and ink blended the edges with coordinating colors to tie in with my Panda image. I attached the textured panel to my base.

Then I attached my Panda to stitched piece of white card stock framed by another Kraft card stock panel and placed it slightly off center to leave room for my bookmark.

BOOKMARK…

To make the corner bookmark follow these steps (diagram below)

Cut a square
Score in half vertically & horizontally
Cut out the bottom right square
Fold the top left square in half diagonally
Fold the remaining flaps under the top ;eft folded square and glue together
Decorate as you wish

I cut my square from Kraft Card Stock to 4″ x 4″. I decorated the top with a piece of Ink n’ Splatter’s Pattern Paper for the “Horizontal Lines” Parameter. Then I die cut a flower from white card stock and ink blended it for the op of my bookmark.

You are Loved…

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment “You are Loved” from the “Lovable Pandas” Stamp Set and cut it out with a stitched banner died added to the upper left corner of my image.

I added a few pink hearts and my Bookmark Card was finished.
