Hey Boo
Hello Friends…
Welcome to back my Studio!
Have you seen Ink n’ Splatter’s NEW “Ghoul Friends”? Well, we’ve been ghosted by these little cuties and we just can’t get enough of them!
Our team has been busy creating scary cute projects to inspire you. Today, I am sharing a super fun infinity shaker card using just one of these adorbs.
I had so much fun creating this one! There is just something about the fabulous vibrant colors of Halloween. I just love them all!
This is a fairly simple project with lots of fun appeal. I first stamped my Ghoul Friend on marker paper, colored her with alcohol markers, and cut her out with the coordinating die set. I also stamped my sentiment on a piece of black card stock with embossing ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Fizzy Fizzy Fizzy…
For my background, I ink blended an orange color on bright orange card stock using a stencil. I love circles and dots so this stencil is perfect for my background panel. Then I die cut it with a stitched rectangle.
and then attached I also die cut a scalloped panel from black card stock and another panel from bright green card stock and then attached the two to an A2 fold card base that I cut and scored from black card stock.
INFINITY SHAKER…
Once my backgrounds were finished and cut to size, I cut a piece of stamp packaging to overlap my stitched panel by approximately .5″ all around. I then placed the clear packaging over my panel, turned it over, snipped the corners, and folded and glued the flaps on three sides of the panel. I left the top open and added many colorful Halloween Bits for my shaker. Then I folded the top flap to seal my shaker.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER…
All my card elements are ready for assembly. As I mentioned before, I cut scored and folded an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of black card stock to an A2 size tent fold card. Then I attached my green panel and scalloped panel to my card base. The Shaker panel was next.
Then I added my little Ghoul Friend and my sentiment to the top of the shaker panel so they would not only stand out, but the shaker bits could freely move around and wouldn’t over take them.
And that was all I did to make these super cute Halloween infinity shaker card.
I hope I have inspired you today to create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming. Your creations will bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
