Cutest Berry in the Patch

Hello Friends…
Welcome back to my Studio! I’m so glad you joined me today!

Cutest Berry in the Patch…

Today I’m featuring Ink n’ Splatter’s “Strawberry Fields Mice” Stamp Set for this adorable Split in the Middle Barn Door Fun Fold Card.

Card Base…

For my card base I cut and folded an A2 size card from white card stock. Then I cut off about half of the top cover horizontally and die cut half of an oval shape to serve as a peek a boo window to the inside of my card.

Craft Roulette Challenge…

I created this card for another super fun Craft Roulette Challenge. The Parameters for this challenge came from Episode #176 on their Youtube Live Channel.

  • Project: Split in the Middle
  • Element: Fruit
  • Colors: Jolly
  • Random: Hearts

COLORING…

I stamped all my images from Ink n’ Splatter’s “Strawberry Fields Mice” Stamp Set on marker paper with black hybrid ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I colored al of them using Copic markers. I also stamped a cute sentiment from the set with a coordinating ink color.

BACKGROUND…

For my background I cut a couple of pieces of pattern paper from the “Strawberry Fields” Pattern Paper.

I placed one on the inside for my background and cut the other and place it on my front die cut for panel.

I also die cut some grasses from another coordinating piece of pattern paper form the same paper collection.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER…

I die cut a pretty oval. from white card stock to fit the oval cut out on the front panel and attache several grasses and a couple of super cute mice to the oval using foam adhesive to give it some dimension.

Then I arranged all my other adorable stamped images in and around my card.

A Few Extras…

I finished off my card by adding a little coordinating baker’s twine and a few tiny hearts between my lovable center Strawberry Fields Mice.

And with that, my card was finished.

hope I have inspired you to simply create something Fabulously Fun & Heart-Warming to bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.

I hope you get a chance to view the Craft Roulette Live on YouTube most Friday evenings for a great way to unwind, laugh a little and craft alongside some fabulously “FUNN” people!
